So sorry that I have not updated my blog for a while but I was away looking at gardens in other places and there was just so much to do when I returned.

October is a busy time in the garden in Cyprus. The weather is cooling down but the earth is still warm which helps the roots of plants to settle in. At the end of another very hot summer take a look around and see what needs to be replaced or replanted in your garden. The garden centres are full of interesting new plants. However not all that is on offer is suitable for growing here. Look for grey leaved plants and those that originated in South Africa as they will do best.

Look out for me at the CESSAC Christmas Fair in Dhekalia on Saturday October 31 when I will have books for sale as well as a selection of herbs. See you then
